The Techie Nun

Check out the new blog of my friend Sister Sandy Yost, CSJ.

Nunsuch – the adventures of a techie nun

I met Sandy while I was teaching at the University of Detroit Mercy. Here’s what she has to say about herself:

I’ve been a Sister of St. Joseph (Baden, Pennsylvania) since 1984, and I’m currently an Associate Professor of Electrical Engineering at the University of Detroit Mercy. It’s true that this is an unusual combination, and some folks find the concept of a Roman Catholic sister who’s an engineer downright fascinating. When it comes right down to it, however, I’m just another seeker trying to live a meaningful life in right relationship with God, myself, and others.

Sandy is a very thoughtful and articulate writer. I think you will find her blog delightful and engaging.
