My First Jubilee
By Sister Julie | February 18, 2007
Today I celebrate one year since final profession. I am honored to be an IHM and a religious sister in the Catholic Church.
Since I’ve been playing around with video the last few days, I thought I’d post a video of clips from my final profession ceremony held in our IHM Motherhouse chapel on February 18, 2006. Click on the video “Sister Julie’s Profession of Final Vows” in the nunpod videos on my sidebar. (If the video does not appear on the sidebar, click “see more videos” and scroll through my videos until you find it.)

Congrats! It’s interesting to see your profession along with some of the others…you really get a sense of the community present across all orders.

Thanks! It’s hard to believe it’s been a year! These IHMs are a great bunch to spend you life with. Wouldn’t have it any other way!

Julie, sorry for my delay in wishing you congratulations on your 1st profession. I saw your video and it brought back memories of my profession. Yes, it is great being with such a great group of women. It is also great having you as part of that group.
