Sister Julie:

Very cool interview with the sister who is the Vatican webmaster. She seems so California to me. Do you know what order she belongs to?

What I found particularly promising/interesting about Sister’s comments is when she mentioned how people, who normally cannot engage in learning more about the faith or participating in interfaith dialogue, can connect through the internet. It’s probably forbidden for a Muslim Saudi to talk about the comparison between the Bible and Koran in public, for example. We all know the Church is largely underground in China. It’s less risky to communicate anonymously in these cases. One does not have to worry about what one asks or says. One can simply seek the truth, without any interference from the government, etc., The possible ramifications of this are huge – especially for evanglization!
