Time to Retreat

One of the wonderful things about religious life is that we are encouraged to take retreat time often, sometimes just for an afternoon and sometimes for an extended period of time. This weekend is my retreat time, so I will not be tending to this blog until Sunday evening or Monday.

Retreating into a quiet space (even if it’s your own home) is a good thing to do for any person. It gives one’s spirit a chance to renew itself. It is an opportunity to spend some “alone time” with God and to hear God’s Word addressed to you personally. Sometimes in the busy-ness of everyday life we don’t get to experience God in stillness or quietness. Retreat is a wonderful opportunity to do so. Please say a little prayer for me and know that you are in my prayer.

    Hi There,

    I am looking into going away and would like to try being a NUN for a short period of time to get some clarity and reassurance in my life.

    I am a student Nurse at the moment and this is why i want to do this at the moment so that it hels me with Nursing in the Army.

    Could you tell me if this is possible or if not could you please tell me where i can go to get the tickets.
