Can Nuns Be Happy?

By Sister Julie | June 14, 2007

Catholic Digest, June 2007Can nuns be happy? A curious question indeed, one that is the title of an article I wrote for Catholic Digest. The June 2007 issue of Catholic Digest has a number of articles on religious life. In the piece that I wrote, I talked about my journey to religious life and my delight at being an IHM Sister.

There is also an article by one of our Loyola Press authors Jim Martin, SJ, called “You’re going to be a what? A survival guide for parents of children entering the seminary or religious life.”

Actually, I don’t think you can access the article online, only in print which I’m told can be found at various bookstores. You can also contact them directly and purchase a copy. Eventually I’ll have a copy of my article posted on this blog and/or on my IHM community’s web site.
