My Jewish friends are celebrating the holy day of Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement) beginning this evening. It is one of the most solemn of Jewish religious holidays. I found this prayer and am praying it this day because atonement is something I need, we all need, and our world needs. Blessings to each one of you.
You know the secrets of the universe,
And the hidden mysteries of all the living.
You probe all the innermost chambers,
and test thoughts and emotions.Nothing is hidden from You
And nothing is concealed from Your eyes. And so may it be Your will
God of our ancestors,
That You forgive us for all our errors,
And you pardon us for all our iniquities,
And You atone for us
For all our willful sins.– from the Viddui confessional prayer (source)

Unfortunately, this hsould have been posted yesterday so this would be appropriate, but be that as it may, L’Shana Tova (May you be written in the Book of Life) to you, Sister.
A prayer that can be prayed at all times, yes? Certainly one I can use. Thank you!!!
