Only we were too far from the ocean to return the little creature when he crawled our of his shell. It was sad. Your I think has a happier ending. Brought back many memories of my time at the Jersey shore. Also thought of the time I used to bring home odd shells and pieces of bark. I remember putting an odd shaped piece of something i found in my jewerly box. It turned out to be piece of a wasps nest, and when I opened the box, out they came. It cured me forever!
