Washing my sons’ feet on this holy day as they were growing up will always remain one of the most humbling acts of love I’ve ever performed. Wonderful photo!

How sweet, baby feet! And the Holy Thursday washing of baby feet! Awesome. My husband, daughter and I are getting our feet washed tonight.
Have a most blessed Triduum!

And I had mine washed, too. It is a profound experience. Thank you for highlighting it.
But having been the one to recruit foot washing volunteers for the last several years in my parish, let me tell you, the excuses for not doing it boggle the mind. I don’t know why this is.
