Alicia … The writing has blown me away. I haven’t read this caliber of writing in a long time. The images and metaphors that Cisneros uses are amazing. Have you read any of her poetry or short stories?

I suppose you don’t want to hear about how I had to turn the heat on the other night and that I’m wearing polar fleece again?

I’ve heard good things about The House on Mango Street, but haven’t read it. It’s on the list.
