Computer Upgrade
It’s Monday and I’m preparing for a 5-hour meeting so my blog time is a little short today. Here’s a picture forwarded to me by a couple of my IHM Sisters. I am in serious need of this upgrade today! Unfortunately even my Mac doesn’t have this!

Actually, my computer already has this nifty cup holder in the top drawer in my tower. Well, it has two, the second being in the next little drawer, but the two things are way too close together to use them both at the same time. I guess the secoond one is that backup feature that people talk about….
(Yes, I KNOW it’s the CD drive! (=^P It’s called sarcasm, most appropos for a Monday morning, no?)
Actually, there is a HOWTO to make your linux computer drive a coffee machine. I don’t know how you’d make it work for a USB device, though. (I think the last time I looked at it, it only had it working through the serial port.)
To really get out there, I would love to operate Time like a program (on a Mac… I would hate to have a Windows system crash while I was chatting with Eve) so I could go back and ‘re-do’ or see previous Times or be able to e-mail and chat with anyone I wanted to and we would be able to understand each other… that would be COOL!
