Nun Photo – Sister Annunciata Grix, IHM
Sister Annunciata Grix, IHM, is a dear friend of mine in my IHM Congregation who died this past July. Still, Nuncie is very much a part of my life and definitely walks among the IHM “communion of saints”. I’ve been thinking about Nuncie a lot lately, missing her, and also asking for her prayers and support because I’ve got an adventurous couple of weeks ahead of me.
So this Nunday, I thought I’d share a couple more pictures of Nuncie that I took at her Remembering … a Remembering is a time for prayer and recalling memories of a Sister who has died. We usually hold Rememberings the night night before a Sister’s funeral. There are always albums of pictures, pieces of writings that the Sister wrote, flowers and momentos from family and friends, and stories — lots of stories!

Here are my past blog postings about Nuncie.

Oh, what a lovely woman! I bet she had lots of stories to share!
Aw, she looks seriously adorable! You must miss her a lot.
What a beautiful journal of a life. The three pictures say a lot about fidelity, never ending response to call, flexibility, devotion… It is truly a story of religious life that touches my heart.
Thank you you for sharing this. I can see and feel why you miss her!
