Please let Sister Terry know how touched I am by her words. Sister Terry was my student teaching supervisor in Toledo, Ohio, 25 (gulp!) years ago. After 14 years away from the classroom and raising children, God led me back to the classroom at a wonderful Catholic school outside Charleston, SC. In a small world story, Sr. Julia Hutchinson from Toledo is our Diocesan Superintendent and remembers Sr. Terry fondly! So much of my philosophy of teaching was formed by Sr. Theresa...it's all about getting children to want to learn what I want them to learn! It's so wonderful to not only teach our children reading and writing, but also our faith...it's such a gift and I'm forever grateful for the solid foundation Sr. Theresa helped create in me.

Sr. Theresa Milne,
What an inspiring message. I found it on youtube.com while googling your name for genealogy (Fitzpatrick) research. When I see my dad (John Graff) in a couple weeks, will share your message and video with him.
Thank you : )
Your distant cousin, Jean

"Abandonment to Divine Providence" is one of my favorite books and definitely a book to read and re-read. It has sparked this daily prayer in my heart, "I humbly and reverently receive this day and all that it holds from Your hand...O Spirit of Holiness enable me to truly receive it and walk with humility, gentleness and love." By the way, it has been renamed, "The Sacrament of the Present Moment."

That book, "Abandonment to Divine Providence" also had a profound effect on me. I read it before I entered...and found that a lot of the spiritual principles were spot on with the CSSJ (Sisters of St. Joseph) charism.
