I was very priveledged to meet Sr. Mary Ruth at my newborn son's funeral. I didn't know her at all...but she traveled to be at the Mass. After communion, she grasped my hands and squeezed. I was so touched by this outpouring of love from someone that I didn't even know! Even as I type this I am crying. She assured me that my sons were in heaven and she promised her prayers. It is only with God's grace and the beautiful people, like Sr. Mary Ruth, that I have been able to survive without my children.

Great to see you blogging again after Easter, Sister Julie, and you couldn't have made a better comeback than by presenting us with Miss Dina's beautiful photograph and warm memories of Sister Mary Ruth. I'm hoping now that you have been embraced by the peace and joy of Easter, and I'm sure that many of us will be eagerly awaiting your new posts as you return to your keyboard.

Hey! That is Sr. Mary Ruth! She is from my community. She has worked very hard all her life. Her main mission has been to care for newborns. Still today she advocates for the protection of life. Thanks Sr. Julie, I'll pass the link around. Sr. Liza SDS
