It is so important to keep young Catholics involved as much as possible ... and in a very special way. I hope and pray that more unverisities and dioceses engage paid, full-time professionals in this vital work. It shouldn't be an afterthought. It's our future. I really like Sr. Pat's words about a "deep respect for the freedom of the individual." From my experience, most younger people are in that searching kind of mode. They need someone understanding and nonjudgmental to help them explore their faith. I'm glad there are folks out there like Sr. Pat to do that. dee I am so grateful for all of the men and women that work in youth/campus ministry.
