As happy as we were to get in the new place (and out of the moldy place) it was still an endeavor. Wonky connections for Internet and gas (i.e., no hot water), faulty thermostat on the dryer, dishwasher on back order, etc.--all these plus the stress and effort of moving twice was a bit much for me. We spent two afternoons at the laundromat cleaning everything (stuff exposed to mold spores) and had countless trips to the hardware store returning stuff from old house and getting stuff for new place. So I think I was a bit too optimistic about getting "back to normal"! Thanks, Marla, Chris and others.
