Hi sisters,
Great ask sister podcast. I listened to the recording. I unfortunately won't be there Saturday night. I don't have internet at my parents. But I will listen to it on Sunday after I get back to school. Have a great time at the motherhouse. I got some answers from my question. Thanks a lot. Hope to catch you Monday night. God bless you all, Jeannie

I'd love to know more about becoming a lay associate? What is a lay associate's role within a religious community? How does someone pursue becoming a lay associate? Is there a discernment process and if so, what is it like? How does someone choose a specific religious community? What are the requirements for becoming a lay associate? I know, many questions but it is something that I've been thinking about. Thanks in advance :)
Peace & Blessings!

oops put my question in the wrong box - I think I typed it into last weeks!
Here's a question I have (but in more detail):
What's the best way to tell parents/friends etc. about the fact that you're considering religous life, especially if you're pretty sure they won't be too pleased and are afraid they'll say a) but I want grandchildren b) but you're not patient/faithful/outgoing (insert quality here) c) well I'm sure you could find a guy, just wait
What do you think?

Even though I've already started with my discernment, is it alright if I linger it until I finish with my studies, I mean, if I don't sit to think about my decision until I'm finished or is that just too coward?
