I think sometimes we don't properly recognize how to act or perhaps react to someone during a stressful situation, not knowing or understanding all of the influences at work. To have had our family be blase over this and then to experience the absolute joy of renewal in our family with our brother again involved has been the best Christmas gift I may ever receive. I am thankful to God for bringing our brother back into our lives. Our brother, who we reconciled with after almost 7 years, made our family Christmas the nicest in a long while.
