Thank you so much for your ministry Srs Julie & Maxine. It’s such a comfort having a place to come to share, learn and most importantly pray :) I missed ya’ll by abt 5min this morning. Am not able to join you very often but always listen to the podcast.
This past sunday’s homily really struck a cord with me …
“We have to let go, and take the plunge. Trusting that God knows what is best for us.”
By the offertory hymn (You are mine by David Haas), I was in tears and I think my parents were alittle worried lol. I’ve decided to take the plunge and discerning with more intent (even have the applications forms sitting in my drawer).
Please pray for me that I keep open to the Spirit, this call from God and for support from my family.

Today is the day of Scholastica, the first nun and sister of missionary and preacher Benedict.

I would like to reflect on messages left by the most recent doctor of the Catholic and Christian Churches:
- how are nuns adapting to the modern lifestyle and social needs
-how is our christian theology adapting to the new multicultural and global sociology
-the need for nuns to interact in normal environments with all kinds of people, even non-christians and their duty in raising and educating toddlers, children and teenagers as part of the female make-up and female function and basic need.

Please pray today for all the christians who may not give the charity where is needed and may not judge right. Please pray for those who suffer and are left with no means by thiefs and robbers. May the souls of victims and abused go in peace with the angels and may they receive mercy and non-judgement by our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

Hi Liz, thanks for the reflection! I Hope you can join us for prayer tonight at 6 p.m. CST. We’re praying especially in honor of Saint Scholastica. She is one of my favorite saints.
