All Souls – remember and pray
by The Nuns on November 2, 2010 J.M.J.A.T.
Happy Feast of All Souls! Today we pray in a special way the words of the liturgy in which we call to mind all who have died: “Remember those who have died and have gone before us marked with the sign of faith … May these, and all who sleep in Christ, find in your presence light, happiness, and peace.”
In this spirit of remembering and of prayer, we invite you to listen to this reflection sent in to us by A Nun’s Life friend “Kbart” who often visits with us in the chat room each evening for prayer and conversation. Kbart recorded this during a drive through an area “full of colorful trees, farmlets with horses and chickens and a bridge over a dam.”

As we listen, we are invited to remember and to pray with those dearly departed who have touched our lives. After listening, please write the name of a loved one who has died in the comment box below. We will take these names to prayer with us tonight and read each of them. You are invited to join us for this prayer at 6 p.m. CST (your time zone). The prayer is broadcast live right from our website at http://aNunsLife.org/LIVE or click the “Listen Now!” button on any page of our website.
