“Let there be…an office!” A Nun’s Life Wishlist
We love the Genesis readings from last week, especially the parts where God says, “Let there be …” and then light oceans, earth, vegetation, creatures, and other things appear. God speaks a word, and the word becomes incarnate!

A Nun’s Life Ministry has had its own day of creation — a new office space. Until now we’ve been operating happily out of our convent dining room but the ministry is beginning to grow beyond that space and taking over our kitchen, living room, and even Chloe the Convent Cat has had to downsize in order to accommodate the growth of A Nun’s Life! Lest microphones and computers and various gizmos take over the whole of the convent, we discerned that it was time to get an office of our own.
We are so excited for this new moment in A Nun’s Life history and we look forward to the many new surprises up ahead. As we move into our new space, many of you have asked how you can help. Some of you have helped with painting and with moving Sister Mildred the File Cabinet. Some of you have shared your expertise, prayers, and sheckles. Upon a number of people’s urging, we were asked to put together a wishlist of things needed for the office and ministry.
