In Their Own Words – Franciscan Sisters of the Sacred Heart

by The Nuns on February 18, 2011  J.M.J.A.T.

in feature podcast

Today instead of our regular live broadcast of Ask Sister podcast we’d like to try a little something different. We worked with a couple religious communities to test out a new podcast series called “In Their Own Words: Stories about Catholic Religious Life told by those who live it.” We’d love to get your feedback on the pilot podcast we did with the Franciscan Sisters of the Sacred Heart. Use the comment box below!

Our guests are Sister Nancy Roberta Schramm, OSF, and Sister Lovina Francis Pammit, OSF.

If you are a member of a religious community of sisters, brothers, monks, nuns, or other form of consecrated life and are interested in having A Nun’s Life Ministry produce a podcast like this for you, contact us at .

Loved it! The informative format covering other Religious communities embodies what A Nuns Life is really about: informing viewers of what it means to live a consecrated life.

I enjoyed it very much! Another innovating and engaging way to make visible the beauty and richness of religious life and the specific charisms of individual congregations/communities.

PS–I am curious how/if they are related to the Franciscan Sisters of the Sacred Heart with a motherhouse at Peekskill NY. Maybe they could return some day for a live “Ask A Sister” podcast.

Love this new alternative format – great evidence of growth and development in the NL Ministry. Go, sisters!

We are not related to other Sisters in New York. Just FYI. Way to go, my Sisters!

Hello All! Our motherhouse is in Frankfort, Illinois. Not related to NY Sisters, but are historically related to FSSH of Jesus in Germany. Peace!
