The Catholic Courier in Rochester, New York, just begun a series of articles and audio slideshows depicting the life and mission of three sisters, “each with her own unique life experiences shaped by a commitment to the Gospel message.”

Click for audio slideshow which was created by Mike Crupi @ Catholic Courier

The series is called “Sisters’ Stories,” and the first begins with Sister Dorothy Quinn SSJ, a Sister of Saint Joseph. Sister Dorothy has been a religious sister for 65 years. “Among her many accomplishments, she helped wounded, tired and hungry civil rights marchers in Selma, Ala.; served closer to home as a teacher in Brockport; and along the way learned a craft that has helped sustain her and many others.”

To listen to and watch the audio slideshow, click here: Sisters’ Story: Dorothy Quinn in the Catholic Courier (May 9, 2011) — and then come on back and let us know what insight you gained from Sister Dorothy.
