Blessings for Pope Francis

Share your blessings for our newly elected Pope Francis! When Pope Francis spoke from the portico above St. Peter's Square in Rome yesterday, he invited people worldwide to pray for him.

Being pope is a huge responsibility, especially at this time in history, when there are many serious challenges within the church and in the world. 

Sister Julie and I join our prayers with those from people around the world. We pray that God will continue to work in and through Pope Francis to renew the church in a spirit of compassion, justice, and love, particularly for people at the margins of society.
