A Nun’s Life Mission

Our Vision

A Nun’s Life Ministry is founded on the belief that each person is called by God to a vocation that enriches the individual and benefits the world.

Our Mission

A Nun’s Life Ministry helps people discover and grow in their vocation, that is, their life’s calling, by engaging questions about God, faith, and religious life.

Our Ministry

A Nun’s Life Ministry began in 2006 as a way to reach out to people who use the Internet in their search for meaning, direction, and possibilities in life.

Our ministry is based at aNunsLife.org, a place of hospitality where people can pursue their search in the context of faith and community.

We encourage people to understand their lives as a vocation, a calling from God. We tap into the traditions of religious life to help in this endeavor. We offer stories, interviews, and conversations on topics such as spirituality, discernment, sisterhood, and living religious life today.

Among the visitors to aNunsLife.org are people who wonder if they are called to religious life. We offer them a listening presence, guidance, and accurate information, We also help them connect with others who are discerning, as well as with sisters and nuns from many religious communities.

By combining the traditions of religious life with today’s Internet technologies, we are able to extend our ministry worldwide. We continue to expand the offerings of A Nun’s Life Ministry to meet the needs of an ever-growing online community and to continue to promote accurate and authentic images of Catholic sisters and nuns in today’s world.
