Clear Blogging
A while back I did an email interview for a book called Clear Blogging by Bob Walsh. It was just published this month. Julie, this is not a blog, but I feel others need to know about 8 Poor Clare nuns in Delray Beach, Fl. who planned to sell their 1967 monastery, a leaky, moldy, massive building and move next door into a handicap-accessible home intended for retired priests. The diocese called the nuns to tell them the deal to buy this vacant home is off. They decided to sell the home to a nearby church. The diocese did wish the sisters well and offered continued support. A neighbor said “it is interesting how coarse and indifferent the diocese can be to women who have dedicated their life to God”.I think all those interested in following the Lord via Religious Life need to be aware of the clergy!!
