Got some questions in already … here are some of the topics:

How do I find you on Facebook?

You have a blog so does that mean nuns can use computers in monasteries?

When did nuns stop wearing the habit?

How do I know if God is calling me to be a sister?

Hello Sister Julie and Sister Maxine,

Perhaps this is too deep for tonight, I don’t know. Have either of you experienced a “dark night of the soul” situation?

Why does God seem to abandon us at times – although I do not really believe he does – is it a test? How do we pass or put more aptly, what does God really expect? I may be expressing this badly.

I like formal prayer sometimes but mostly just talk to Jesus, it seems so natural to pray like this. Sometimes He talks and sometimes He listens. Now it seems as though there is nothing but a hole, no voice, no gentle nudge.

Suze – We can definitely talk about this tonight. You expressed the inexpressible quite well.

Have you tried listening with your heart for Him? He is present in Adoration, in the celebration of the Eucharist and in your heart. Listen with your heart. He is there and He loves you.

Thanks very much, Sister Julie and Sister Maxine, for talking about dark night of the soul. I think this is the Psalm you referenced:
Psalm 139:11-12 “Surely darkness shall hide me, and night shall be my light” — Darkness is not dark for you, and night shines as the day. Darkness and light are but one. “

That’s it Suze! Thanks for finding it.
