A friend recently mentioned listening to an Ask Sister podcast in which Sister Maxine and I talked about how our Lent was going and what we were doing as a Lenten practice. I had mentioned in the podcast how my Lenten practice was to try to be more present to the moment by tending to the stuff right in front of me, which includes not procrastinating! "I'll just do those dirty dishes later." Or, "I'll write that letter tomorrow." I got to wondering how I did with that Lenten practice, given that we are now well into Ordinary Time again.
