- Are nuns allowed to do fun things or to chose a profession?
- What is the difference between chastity and celibacy? How does one prepare for a vow of celibacy?

I had to smile at some of the questions, esp about a religious name. I was able to pick my own name as long as I added some form of Mary to it. My Baptismal name is Julianne–already two names. I wanted to add “Francis” to it after St. Francis of Assisi and my mother, Anna Frances. So my full religious name is Sr. Julianna Francis Marie–a real mouthful!
Here’s what called the smile. I had to give a deposition once. It took nearly FIVE MINUTES to cover all my aliases! Birth certificate had one name, Social Security had another (Added my Confirmation name), then there’s my full religious name (which I used to register to vote, but not on my driver’s license), etc., etc. ETC.!
A great webcast .
