Blessed is she who trusted that the Lord’s words to her would be fulfilled Lk 1: 45

Mary journeys to a town of Judah to visit Elizabeth.  Her visit was a gift to Elizabeth and still, to this day, a gift to us.  Mary was very young and not totally aware of what was happening.  Her cousin Elizabeth was older and wondering what God was doing with them.

These two courageous women worked, prayed, and lived at Elizabeth’s home.  Their courage was bolstered by each other; they would never be the same.  This is true for our world today, those who open their heart to the presence and graces of Mary… will never be the same!

Mary and Elizabeth give us the courage to love God and to be ready to do God’s will.

In what ways are you open to the presence of holiness in your life?
How has your prayer life caused you to never be the same?
