“I am the resurrection and the life;
whoever believes in me, even if he dies, will live,
and everyone who lives and believes in me will never die.
Do you believe this?” (John 11: 25-26)
When Jesus is speaking to Martha in the verses above ... he is also speaking to us.
"Do you believe in me? Do you believe that I have defeated death? Do you believe that I am with you always?"
It is not always easy to maintain our faith. The challenges we face in life can weary us to the point where we wonder, "Where is God in all this? Am I really all alone? Is this all there is, all there will ever be?"
Those are questions you can bring to prayer. Prayer is, after all, a conversation with God. Ask Him, "Where are you in my difficulty? Are you with me? When will things get better?"
This week, our focus is on prayer. Rather than the rosary or a rote prayer, this week, have a conversation with God. Bring Him your tough questions. He can handle them!
