“God sent the Only Begotten into the world not to condemn the world, but that through Jesus the world might be saved.” (John 3:17)
This week’s readings focus our attention on the concept of belief and what it means to BELIEVE. As Christians, believing is an attitude, a trusting that God is love and is present to us in that love, God made us out of love, and God sent Jesus into this world save us and lead us into eternal life.
Is it hard to believe in God’s unconditional love sometimes? Take it into your prayer and share your struggle with God: “I believe, help my unbelief” (Mark 9:24). Believing in this abundance will impact the words you use, the choices you make and the good works that you do.
