Sisters of the Precious Blood

Trip Date: August 28, 2014
Motherhouse Roadtrip
Travel Journal
  • Day trip to Dayton, Ohio, accompanied for the first time by Sister Julie Myers, OSF, who is lending a hand with the Motherhouse Road Trip series.
  • We meet up with Dave Eck, Communications Director for the sisters. He shows us the room where the podcast will be held, complete with a new sound system. We set up as a number of sisters stop by to say hello and welcome us.
  • Our podcast guests, Sister Della and Sister Joyce, talk about the inspiring charism of the congregation-- bringing the reconciling, life-giving presence of Jesus to people. Beautiful!
  • Before heading back to Toledo, we go have dinner at a local Mexican restaurant with some of our CPPS buddies; lots of laughs and sharing over delicious food.
