Spring is upon us here in Toledo, and the season always amazes me with the newness it brings.

For me, it’s not only an outward newness happening, in the world as the grass turns green and the robins begin to sing. It’s also an inward newness, a time of awareness and action, of discernment and decision. In the spirit of the season, I am writing to share some news with you.

After 15 wonderful years with A Nun’s Life Ministry, I have decided to step down as Executive Director in July 2021. I do so with gratitude for the joy, creativity, adventure, and relationships that have been such a rich part of this journey—and that will continue to be!

After a new Executive Director joins the team, I’ll take on a different role. I’ll serve as a part-time consultant focused on the ongoing development of podcasts and continue to serve as a podcast host. I’ll also be welcoming more Catholic Sisters into podcasting, and I look forward to introducing you to the next generation of podcasting nuns!

Being part-time will enable me to have more time with my family and my IHM sisters, for which I am deeply grateful. I am excited about the future of A Nun’s Life and am delighted to help the ministry transition into its next season of life, joy, adventure, discernment, and more! You’re welcome to read more information in the press release found on our website.

It has truly been an honor to be with you on the spiritual journey over these past 15 years of A Nun’s Life Ministry. I look forward to the journey continuing into the future!
