“Your purposes, O God, are right; they refresh the soul.” (Psalm 19:8)
God delivers the commandments and the “law is perfect, refreshing the soul”. That delivery of the commandments is a priceless gift of new life for each of us willing to be open to receive them. How we nurture the words, how we live the laws and incorporate them into our daily practice can be cleansing and refreshing to our soul.
This cleansing may not happen as we think it should, but God, in all great wisdom, desires to make us clean and to grow in relationship with us. God leads…what’s your desire to follow?
This week, March 8-14, we join in the celebration of Catholic Sisters Week }—Celebrating Traditions, Changing the World.
Catholic Sisters Week shines a light on the spirituality, mission and community building of women religious. Through a deep relationship with God, they witness that love from their lives of prayer, courage, strength and service to those most in need. Is there a Sister who inspired/inspires your life? Join us in celebrating her!
