Not until she was working with unaccompanied minors in US Immigration Services did Sr. Trish Doan realize the truth: as a Vietnamese refugee making her way to the United States, she herself had been an unaccompanied minor.

Sister Alice Ann O'Neill is a professional cellist with a doctorate in performance and teaching who has performed as a soloist in the States and abroad. She is a Suzuki teacher, Suzuki teacher trainer, and composer. Her passion for playing the cello is integral to her love for teaching others. She trains Suzuki cello teachers in workshops and institutes throughout North America. And for the past 30 years, Sister Alice Ann has taught music and cello at several universities. She maintains a Suzuki cello studio in Cincinnati, Ohio, and is a member of the Sisters of Charity of Cincinnati, a religious community affiliated with the Charity Federation. She believes that music has the power to unite people to bring joy and healing into their lives, and a way to build community.

In August 2021, Sister Rejane Cytacki joined A Nun's Life Ministry as executive director, succeeding Sister Maxine Kollasch. Together they have been working on the transition of leadership for that ministry--and Sister Rejane has been publishing blog posts at anunslife.org, interacting with the A Nun's Life community on social media, and getting to know the community through Facebook Live events like Praying with the Sisters. Here she is making her podcast debut! Sister Rejane is a Sister of Charity of Leavenworth, Kansas, and prior to A Nun's Life Ministry, she served as executive director of the Eco-Justice Center for the Racine Dominicans in Racine, Wisconsin Before that, she served in environmental education and campus ministry at the University of St. Mary in Leavenworth. She has also taught elementary education in Kansas and Colorado.
