The organization works from the core belief that care of the natural world is integral to spiritual life and social justice. Sister Joan ministers with people of many different faith traditions for education, action, and policy advocacy around climate change and care of Earth. She is a member of the Sisters of St. Francis of Rochester, Minnesota.
