Monday is Nunday! Meet Sister Beth Brosmer, a Sister of Saint Francis of Penance and Christian Charity of Stella Niagara, New York.
I encountered Sister Beth's story when the video (shown below) was shared on the A Nun's Life Facebook page. Sister Beth currently serves as Director of Heart, Love and Soul, a food pantry in Niagara Falls, New York. Heart and Soul was founded over 30 years ago in response to a growing need for community services.
Today, Sister Beth and her colleagues offer a variety of assistance options to those in the neighborhood; from the food pantry, to haircuts to summer programs for kids, Heart and Soul is "dedicated to serving those in need--mind, body and soul."
