Sister Joan ministers with people of many different faith traditions for education, action, and policy advocacy around climate change and care of Earth. She is a member of the Sisters of St. Francis of Rochester, Minnesota.

When you think of Saint Francis, what’s the first image that comes to mind? For me, it’s an image associated with nature, especially animals.
