The pope has arrived at the Madrid airport, and the World Youth Day pilgrims and media are already flocking to the plaza for welcoming the pope this evening. We’ll be there too!

World Youth Day in Madrid totally rocks! It’s like a crazy awesome collage of prayer, friendship, and party – not to mention the fabulous coffee and cuisine (our own Consecrated Foodie has lots to say, for example, about the Jamon Iberico.)

Hola! We arrived in Madrid yesterday, and already the city is filled with young Catholics celebrating their faith!

Sister Julie and Sister Maxine are going to World Youth Day in Madrid, Spain! World Youth Day is an experience with people worldwide and with the Pope. It is celebrated every three years in a different country. This year it will be celebrated in Madrid from August 16th to 21st, 2011.
