Beginning: ASH WEDNESDAY
Your name has been called; you have been summoned. Join us this week as we prepare for a powerful Lenten journey with Jesus.
Week 1: FASTING
The purpose and act of fasting is our focus for this first week. We engage in fasting during Lent as a sign of sacrifice, self-discipline, and a way of reverencing the sacrifice of Jesus’s journey into the desert for 40 days. Journey with us into this week of Fasting!
Week 2: PRAYER
This week we invite you to focus on the gift of prayer and how to find ways of not only engaging in an act of prayer but developing a pattern of prayer for your daily life. Journey with us into Prayer week!
Week 3: CLEANSING
On March 7 we will journey into what it means to 'cleanse' during Lent.
Week 4: BELIEVE
Check back here on March 14 as we unveil what the week of BELIEVE means during this Lenten season.
Week 5: ALMSGIVING
What is almsgiving? On March 21 we will journey together and discover the meaning of this act and behavior.
Holy Week: PRESENCE
Holy Week is the final week of Lent beginning on Palm Sunday and ending with Holy Saturday. Journey with us starting on March 28 as we enter into this powerful week.
