There may be changes in demographics of religious life, but peace and harmony are qualities that bond sisters together.

Religious life is full of surprises. The event that I attended with 50 nuns last weekend was no exception!

Tough-as-nails, women religious have established some of the first schools and most extensive healthcare systems in the United States.

My aunt, Sister Anne Marie, often talked about the biblical “hundredfold.” She believed deeply in the truth of Matthew 19: that being a disciple of Jesus brings many challenges and crosses to bear, but the rewards are far greater--“a hundred times more.”

The Leadership Conference of Women Religious annual assembly was held last week in Phoenix, Arizona--and A Nun’s Life Ministry was there!
